A ship in harbor is safe

but that is not what ships are built for. — John A. Shedd

Finally … June 14th I’m going to the Lake Garda. It will not be a holiday but more a trip but I’m already looking forward. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since I was on the Lake Garda and I strongly miss the Italian coffee. It’s still the best!

  1. Italian coffee is definitely the best. We’ll often cycle across the border just for a coffee. Enjoy Lake Garda, it’s a lovely spot. I was there a couple of years ago on a trip down memory lane as it was the location for our first holiday as a married couple many years ago. I’ll look forward to seeing your photos.

  3. What a great thing to look fwd to and only a few weeks away! Haven’t made it to Italy yet but would love to, plus try that coffee 🙂 My fav so far’s been that from Costa Rica!

Like the pictures here too, Tom — there’s a such suggestive simplicity to them, like the umbrella’d passerbys & the statue that almost looks like it’s taking snapshot, lol! Look fwd to what you find mid June! 🙂
