It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind. — Anthony Bourdain

Great quote from a good man (RIP) – it moves me. That and your photographs make for such a thought- provoking post that I’ve shared it. Thank you. A lot.

I love them all, but the first Eifel Tower shot is gorgeous. And I love the quote.

Oh, now I am jealous. We are off to Alaska in August, which will be way cooler – Paris has been hot, but it did not bother me when there just recently.

So much to find to love in Paris and you’ve done justice to it with your captures of both grandeur set aloft in stone and grandeur acting as the sparkle behind a couple’s quiet moment lost within themselves. Really well done, Tom! A lot of feeling in these 😊 But then, Paris is my fav 😊

Us too, though I don’t know when that’ll be, but would hate to think I wouldn’t get to go there again 🙂 Your pics make me want to return even more! 😊

Paris HAS broken my heart, but that’s precisely why I love her. Just as I love your images, Tom. Next time you’re on the rue de Bièvre, I highly recommend La Soummam. I spent my last evening in Paris there in May, and everything about it was exquisite. Just like your images. (Have I mentioned how much I love your photography? :))
