THE ART OF “BLACK & WHITE” – Ups, I did it again…

123Photogo

THE ART OF BLACK AND WHITE,

VOLUME 4

Here we go again.  The 4th in this series.  And each one gets better.  This one has taken, seriously, a long time to put together.  Contacting all the photographers to make sure I have permission to use their photos, and to make sure I have found 22 of the most incredible Black and White Photos that are out there RIGHT NOW.  Black and White is evolving into such a great art, it truly needs a place to showcase these great artists.  Details, as much as possible of the photo, and the photographer are outlined with each photo that is posted.  Please take your time and enjoy, and please contact each photographer individually to congratulate them on their great artistic talents.

How do we judge these photos for display:

  1. Does the photo look better in black and white than color?  Or as good…

Fire, fire…

… it wasn’t serious. Probably because of a short circuit in the electrical installation, a sign over the pharmacy was in fire. I was lucky that I was in the right place at the right time. Next year, I will check if the pharmacy has a new sign.

I love coffee

… especially turkish coffee. I can’t imagine the day without coffee. I started drinking coffee very young at the age of fourteen but my first taste of coffee was much earlier. I was always at the stove when the coffee was cooking. I have always loved the taste of coffee. It was never something I had to acquire the taste for or get used to. There is nothing more inviting and comforting than conversations over coffee. Although I very much enjoy a cup of coffee on my own and watching people passing by, I also enjoy having it with good company. Having coffee with the people you love will give you the opportunity to communicate more and strengthen your bonds with them. This is the
trend of today’s culture already from the Turkish era.

Are you too a coffee lover?

And this part is about me…

6: The Interview There’s still so much I need to learn, I’m still rather fresh in this field. Since I conducted a few political interviews, I thought it would be education for me to interview a few photographers. One of them was Slovenian street-photographer Tom Plevnik. I had been following him on WordPress and enjoyed […]

I’m back…

but only physically … my head is still in Paris. Now I’m starting the hard work, editing photos. Within two weeks I walked almost 210 km, made 3,500 photos and drank a lot of coffee. I haven’t written about coffee yet but I depend on coffee. Maybe next time. All these photos are captured with Samsung Note4… the rest come later. Thanks to everyone who’s following me.

Countdown started

This is probably going to be the last post before I go back to Paris. In the last few years, I spend my vacation twice a year in Paris. I can not do without Paris for now … who know may be dragging me into a new place in the future. In Paris, I feel free, happy and I feel like a photographer. I do not imagine myself on the beach by the seaside for two weeks.
Countdown started: four days and twelve hours. The new post comes after the vacation. Bye for now
